What Copilot is, and how it actually works

It answers from the files, mails and chats you already have access to. What that means in practice, why it sometimes gets things wrong, and the difference between free Copilot Chat and a paid Microsoft 365 Copilot licence.

How to talk to Copilot

Give it the file, say what you want done, say what the output should look like, and correct it in the next line instead of starting again. The habit that decides what you get back.

FAQ's.

Do I need a Copilot licence to attend?

No. The masterclass is demonstration led: you watch every step happen live on screen, and the recording lets you repeat it later. A paid Microsoft 365 Copilot licence helps if you want to reproduce the in-app work in Excel, Word and Outlook afterwards, and the free Copilot Chat covers a good part of what we show. The difference between the two is the very first thing we explain on Day 1.

Is it hands-on? Do I need to set anything up?

No, and no. This is deliberately not a typing-along workshop. Two hours a morning is enough to see Copilot do real finance work end to end, and not enough to troubleshoot forty logins. There is nothing to install and no coding. Bring your questions, and a notepad if you like.

What if I miss one of the two days?

Both sessions are recorded and the recordings stay available for 30 days. A clash on one morning does not cost you the masterclass: watch the recording before the next day, or afterwards at your own pace.

Is this relevant if my firm barely uses Copilot yet?

Yes, and it is probably the best moment to attend. You will see what Copilot can actually do on finance files before your firm commits to licences, learn what the free Copilot Chat already gives you, and leave with a clear view of where it fits in your own week. The method for briefing it and checking its work carries over to whatever you use.

Is this about GitHub Copilot?

No. This is Microsoft 365 Copilot, the one inside Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams. Nothing in the masterclass is about writing code.

Can we run this in-house for a team?

What does the fee cover?

Both live sessions and the recordings with 30 days of access. Early bird is ₹1,499 until 10 October 2026, and ₹1,999 after that. The amount is fixed at checkout by the date you pay, so this page never quotes you a stale price. There is no part two to buy.

How do I get the joining link?

Your confirmation email arrives right after payment, with both dates. The Zoom joining link reaches the email you registered with before the first session. Check your promotions or spam folder if you do not see it, and write to hello@aiwithminal.com if it is still missing.

Can I get a refund or transfer my seat?

The fee is non-refundable and the registration stays in the buyer's name. If you cannot attend live, the recordings cover both days for 30 days.
